Federal Government of Nigeria Scholarship 2023 Application Update
Federal Government of Nigeria Scholarship is currently open for applications from suitably qualified students. The scholarship is fully funded for all students and is sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Federal Government of Nigeria Scholarship
The FSB, which is a branch of the Federal Ministry of Education led by a Director serving as the Board’s Secretary, is offering the Nigeria Award Scholarship (NA) for the 2022/2023 academic year.
This scholarship is available to all qualified Nigerians who are interested in pursuing their studies in Public Tertiary Institutions within Nigeria.
Requirements for the Scholarship
1. In order to qualify for Postgraduate studies, individuals need to have obtained a first degree with at least Second Class Honors Upper Division and be enrolled as full-time students at a Federal or State University.
2. For all other candidates, such as those pursuing Undergraduate, Higher National Diploma, and Nigeria Certificate in Education programs, they must be enrolled as full-time students in their second year or beyond at either Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, or Colleges of Education.

3. To be considered for the Undergraduate Scholarship, including those with physical disabilities, applicants must have a CGPA of at least 4.0 on a 5-point scale (or equivalent) or 5.0 on a 7-point scale.
4. Applicants who are pursuing NCE and HND programs are expected to have a Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Important Points
1. The scholarship is applicable in Nigeria and becomes valid at the commencement of the academic session.
2. It cannot be held concurrently with another scholarship or used for part-time studies.
3. The modification of the course or institution is not permitted.
4. While receiving the award, alteration of the course or institution is not permitted.
Documents Required for Application
1. A document showing admission to the institution.
2. A valid identity card issued by the current school.
