NCB Scholarships, which is fully funded by NCB Foundation, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The NCB Scholarships
The NCB Foundation places education at the forefront of its strategic objectives and offers individual financial support to students through its Scholarships and Grants program.
This program extends to students studying at local educational institutions, ranging from primary to tertiary levels.
For the upcoming 2022/2023 academic year, an impressive amount of over $40 million is allocated for this purpose.
Successful applicants will receive financial assistance categorized as either Traditional or Non-Traditional Programs.
Scholarship Benefits
The NCB Scholarships Applications for Jamaican Students offer various benefits, which are categorized as follows:
Traditional Scholarship Category for Local Students:
National Champion: Each of the top two parish champions pursuing tertiary education will receive a grant of $500,000 for the entire duration of their course of study.
Parish Champion: Each parish champion pursuing tertiary education will be awarded a grant of $250,000 for the duration of their course of study.
We Believe in You Fund: Students at the tertiary, secondary, and primary levels can receive a maximum one-time assistance of up to $50,000.
This financial support is specifically intended to aid with tuition, accommodation, or educational supplies.
Teacher Education Grant: Grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 are available for students pursuing their studies in Teacher Training at tertiary-level institutions across the island.
Book Grant: Students ranging from primary to sixth form level are eligible for book grants, which range from $5,000 to $15,000.

The Non-Traditional Category, specifically designed for Local Students, offers the following benefits:
Gold: Valued at $250,000, this scholarship is exclusively awarded to students at the tertiary level. It covers their tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and other related costs.
Silver: Students at the tertiary level can receive a grant of $150,000 through the Silver category. This scholarship also covers their tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and other associated costs.
Bronze: Tertiary students can receive a scholarship of up to $100,000 through the Bronze category.
This financial support aids them in covering their tuition fees, accommodation expenses, and other relevant costs.
Eligible Nationality
The NCB Scholarships Application is exclusively available to students from Jamaica.
Scholarship Requirements
Prospective applicants for the NCB Scholarships Applications for Jamaican Students are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
1. Hold Jamaican citizenship.
2. Possess a letter of acceptance from an accredited undergraduate degree program offered in Jamaica or a regional campus of the University of the West Indies OR be a registered student at the primary or secondary level in a local educational institution.
3. Maintain full-time student status throughout the duration of the program, as applicable.
4. Demonstrate financial need.
5. Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3.
5. Additionally, the scholarship aims to enhance male representation and encourage female applicants, particularly in the fields of computer science and engineering.
