Corsini Polo Scholarship

The Regent’s University London is awarding two scholarships to the students to pursue an undergraduate & postgraduate degree program. The scholarship is available for the UK, EU & international students.

It is important to note that:

1. Applicants who are not native English speakers typically need to demonstrate proficiency in English at the University’s specified level.

2. This scholarship aims to assist students in persisting through challenges and sustaining their accomplishments.

Scholarship Eligibility

The scholarship is open to students from the UK, EU, and internationally.

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Commitment to a full eight-week training package each academic term is required.

2. Successful scholars will be designated as FIP Youth Ambassadors by the Federation of International Polo (FIP) for the duration of their studies. Their achievements will be evaluated upon graduation, with a potential extension of the title considered based on performance.

3. Scholars will receive a badge from the FIP to be worn on their jackets at polo events.

4. Scholars’ names will be included in the list of FIP Ambassadors published on the FIP website.

5. Responsibilities include coordinating the polo team’s training schedule and serving as the Regent’s polo representative at the University of London Polo Society.

6. Scholars are expected to promote the polo team at events like the annual Fresher’s Fair and assist in publicizing sports at Regent’s University, particularly the polo team, to the student body.

7. Acceptance of a scholarship from Regent’s University London entails signing the Scholars’ Charter, which outlines academic standards and the ambassadorial role scholars will undertake to enhance the university’s reputation positively.

8. Applicants whose first language is not English typically need to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the University’s specified level.

How to Apply

This scholarship is granted based on a competitive process.

To enter the competition the Filippo Corsini Polo Scholarship, in collaboration with the International Federation of Polo, you must have received an offer from Regent’s University London. Please provide the following:

1. A 500-word statement explaining your eligibility for the scholarship and expressing the significance of polo to you.

2. Video footage showcasing your polo skills.

3. A reference from a recognized polo club.
