The NNPC/Total National Merit Scholarship Award 2023/2024 is valued at N150,000 per academic year.
The award, which is open to all first and second-year full-time students regardless of course of study, aims to help outstanding Nigerian students finance their education.
The Scholarship Scheme awards annual scholarships to successful candidates from the year of the award (first or second year) until they complete their degree program.

What are the Benefits of the NNPC/TOTAL Scholarship?
The Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation Scholarship Scheme is a fully funded scheme available only to Nigerian undergraduate students.
The winner will receive 150,000 NGN per year for the rest of his or her life.
The amount given will cover the student’s tuition, housing, book allowance, and any other personal or educational needs.
When is the NNPC/Total Scholarship Deadline?
The application period begins on January 3, 2023, and ends on February 3, 2023. Only those who have been shortlisted will be invited to take the proctored computer-based test.
Only successful candidates at each stage of the selection process will be contacted. Applications must only be submitted through the Shell Nigeria website.
What are the NNPC/Total Scholarship Exam Requirements?
The NNPC/TotalEnergies Scholarship exam will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2023, at 8 a.m. in the various test centres.

The following are the prerequisites for taking the NNPC/Total Scholarship examination:
1. Your Student ID Card from University (Not a Library Card).
2. A printed copy of the invitation letter was emailed to you.
