British Council Pakistan Scottish Scholarship 2023 Portal Updates
British Council Pakistan Scottish Scholarship, which is fully funded by the Scottish Government is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The British Council Pakistan Scottish Scholarship
In 2013, the British Council, in partnership with the Scottish Government, initiated this program to foster higher education opportunities for women in Pakistan.
The Scotland Pakistan Scholarship is designed to assist women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing higher education, enabling them to fulfill their educational aspirations.
To date, the scholarship has benefited more than 1100 students.
Scholarship Benefits
The Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls will provide recipients with the following support:
1. Coverage of tuition fees for eligible fields of study.
2. Assistance with university hostel expenses, if applicable.
3. Funding for round-trip travel between home and university twice a year for students residing in on-campus hostels.

Eligibility for British Council Pakistan Scholarship
These scholarships are exclusively available for female candidates. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Hold Pakistani nationality and currently reside in Pakistan.
2. Be enrolled in a four-year bachelor’s degree program in the specified subject areas.
3. Possess a confirmed admission offer from a public university in Pakistan recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
4. Encouragement is given to young women with disabilities, from rural regions, and/or minority groups to apply.
Documents Required
To ensure a comprehensive application, please include the following:
1. A fully completed application form.
2. A scanned copy of your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card).
3. Scanned copies of your academic transcripts.
4. Evidence of admission and/or enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program.
5. A tuition fee form.
