UFV International Emergency Scholarship 2023 Application Update
UFV International Emergency Scholarship is currently open for applications from suitably qualified students. The scholarship is fully funded for all students and is sponsored by the University of the Fraser Valley.
The UFV International Emergency Scholarship
UFV is a Canadian public university that has campuses located in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Hope, British Columbia.
It was previously called University College of the Fraser Valley and Fraser Valley College.
Every year, over 800 new students from over 70 countries are enrolled at UFV International, and the university supports academic success by awarding multiple admission scholarships, totaling over $400,000 in scholarships last year.
The scholarship is highly competitive and targets students who have achieved a high academic standing.
Benefits of UFV International Emergency Scholarship
The scholarship provides per recipient:
Tuition fees for two academic years, ranging from CAD $12,000 to $36,000 depending on the recipient’s status.
2. On-campus student housing and meal plans provided by UFV. A small relocation allowance (if required).

Requirements for UFV International Scholarship
You are eligible for this scholarship if:
1. To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have been impacted by a national crisis or catastrophe in your home region.
2. You should meet the admission requirements and be eligible to enroll in a program of study offered to international students at UFV.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is highly competitive, and although the University would like to provide support to as many applicants as possible, the funding pool for the award is limited.
Therefore, UFV International will take into account the following criteria when considering applications:
1. A high overall CGPA (cumulative GPA). Applying for an eligible degree program at UFV.
2. Recipients must maintain good academic standing to continue receiving funding for the second year.
