How much does NLNG pay for scholarships? Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is pleased to invite qualified candidates to apply for the NLNG Scholarships Scheme 2022-2023. This scholarship is available to students at all levels of study.
NLNG Scholarships aim to recognize and reward academic excellence by providing financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to pay for their higher education.

How Much Does NLNG Pay for Scholarships?
This scheme was launched in October 2012, with an annual intake of 15 students studying at top UK universities.
The scholarship is worth USD67,500 per awardee per study. However, depending on the course of study, the actual spend per awardee ranges from USD 45,000 to USD 67,500.
Environmental Studies, Engineering, Management, Accountancy, Economics, Information Technology, Geology, Banking, Law, and Medicine are among the subjects covered by the program.
The 2019 awardees have begun their studies at various UK universities. So far, 78 people have benefited from the scheme, which has cost N1.308 billion ($4.27 million).
NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship
This was established in 1998 as a critical component of our education intervention program for our host communities, and it was expanded to the rest of Nigeria in 2003.
The scheme has benefited 3,416 undergraduates from various Nigerian universities, and N768.9 million ($2.5130 million) has been invested in it.
In 2012, the introduction of online applications and the use of social media (Facebook) for information dissemination made the selection process more efficient and cost-effective, while also increasing public awareness of the Scheme.
Each awardee will receive N150, 000 per year for the duration of their course.
Starting with the 2018/2019 academic year, the scheme was expanded from 150 to 300 beneficiaries per year.
NLNG Overseas Post Graduate Scholarship
This scheme was launched in October 2012, with an annual intake of 15 students studying at top UK universities.

NLNG Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Scholarship
Unfortunately, the security situation in North-Eastern Nigeria has resulted in a large population of vulnerable people.
This scheme was established to supplement the Federal Government’s efforts to rebuild Nigeria’s North-Eastern region by awarding scholarships to 30 candidates.
This award is for the sponsorship of secondary school students.
