1. UBC’s Community International Merit-Based Awards in Canada, 2019.

The University of British Columbia is offering merit-based awards for students to pursue an undergraduate degree program.

    English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

2. University of Queensland QAEHS PhD Scholarship Scheme for International Students in Australia, 2019

The University of Queensland is offering QAEHS PhD Scholarship Scheme 2018. The scholarship is available to domestic and international students.

Scholarships are available for 16 projects across the eight QAEHS research themes. Applicants should select their preferred project in their online application. Details of the QAEHS supervisory teams and the available projects can be accessed via the project links (by research theme) below.

  • Eligible Countries:Domestic and international students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Entrance Requirement:Higher degree by research (HDR) programs at UQ include the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), the Master of Philosophy (MPhil), the Doctor of Biotechnology (Biotech), the Doctor of Medical Leadership (Medaled), and the Doctor of Veterinary Clinical Science (DVetClinSci). HDR students produce new knowledge and expertise that is innovative, relevant and progressive.

  • The following documents are required to support your application:
  • Academic CV
  • Academic transcript for all post-secondary study undertaken, complete or incomplete, including the institution grading scale

  • Evidence for meeting UQ’s English language proficiency requirements
  • Two referee reports from persons who can best comment on your prior research experience. UQ will contact your referees directly, but you will need to enter their details into the application form.
  • UQ will accept scanned copies of the above (your) original documents. If you enrol at UQ you must retain your original, hardcopy supporting documentation for the duration of your studies. Note: If any of your documentation is in a language other than English, UQ will require a copy of the original language document and an officially translated copy.

3. Trinity Residential College Scholarships for International Students in Australia, 2019

The College seeks to offer the Trinity Residential College Scholarships to the most deserving students, regardless of their financial means, and to welcome students of diverse backgrounds from across Australia and around the world.

4. Full-time/ Part-time Massey University Doctoral Scholarships in New Zealand, 2019 

Scholarship Description:

  • Applications Deadline:
    Applications for part-time candidates close on December 01, 2018
    Applications for Full-time candidates close on July 31, 2019
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available to enrol in the Doctoral programme.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych) or Doctor of Social Work (DSW).
  • Scholarship Award: The value of a doctoral scholarship will be a stipend of $25,000 per annum and payment of tuition and non-tuition fees to a maximum of 36 months of full-time study. Part-time study will include a stipend of $15,000 per annum and payment of tuition and non-tuition fees to a maximum of 60 months. Tuition fees will be paid at the domestic rate. For international recipients, non-tuition fees includes insurance for the candidate only.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Applicants should have a conditional or unconditional offer of a place in a doctoral programme at Massey University. Full-time and part-time candidates are eligible to apply.

Consideration will normally be given to New Zealand or international candidates with a grade point average of 7.5 or better (on a nine-point scale) or with an average grade of A- or equivalent. Candidates must also demonstrate that their research aligns with the strategic priorities of the University, college and research supervisor(s).

Application Procedure:

  • Please make sure your application is complete, as incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.
  • Please note: As you have supplied supporting documentation (eg. CV, transcript etc.) When applying for admission, you are not required to resend these with your scholarship application. The completed application form is all that is required.

5. University Entrance Scholarship at Concordia University of Edmonton, Canada, 2019

Scholarship Description:

  • Application Deadline: April 1, 2019
  • Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue an undergraduate degree program.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study in Arts, Management or Science.
  • Scholarship Award: The University Entrance Scholarship program provides guaranteed renewable scholarships to high school students who present a minimum award average of 75%. Scholarships vary in value according to the applicant’s award average.

Entrance Requirements

To become eligible for University Entrance Scholarships, applicants must be:

  • Entering their first-year of post-secondary study directly from high school. Concordia will also consider applicants who have:
  • Taken time off between high school and post-secondary studies.
  • Completed university-level credits while in high school.
  • Attended a non-accredited program at a post-secondary institution and earned 9 or less transfer credits.
  • Applicants who enrolled in a post-secondary institution after the completion of high school are not eligible.
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Arts, Management or Science.
  • Registered in a minimum of 80% of a full course load (12 credits) in each semester. Recipients whose registration drops below the required 80% minimum will immediately forfeit their scholarship.

Application Procedure

There is no separate application required.  Concordia identifies eligible students through the admission process, choosing from those who submit their admission Application Forms and final (interim) high school transcripts before April 1st.  Eligible scholarship recipients are sent a preliminary scholarship offer notification letter.


6. Torrens University Australia Billy Blue College of Design Scholarship, 

Scholarship Description:

  • Course Level:  Scholarships are available to study postgraduate

Each year Wine Country Gift Baskets awards annual scholarships to three well-deserving students displaying the spirit of giving. The Wine Country Gift Baskets Spirit of Giving Scholarship is their way of encouraging acts of kindness, service and giving so they remain an important part of their future.

Eligibility

  • High school seniors and current college students planning to attend college or another form of post-secondary education for the full school year following the submission period are eligible to apply. Eligible institutions include but are not limited to four-year universities, community colleges, institutes of technology and accredited credential or certificate programs.Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
  • Planning to attend school in the following school year at an institution in the US.
  • Not an employee or family member of Wine Country Gift Baskets or Houdini Inc.
  • Not a previous winner of this scholarship.

Submission Details

  • Applicants are required to submit all of the following:
  • Proof of enrollment for the upcoming school year. Incoming freshman can provide a copy of the acceptance letter and a supporting document showing they have started a relationship with the school.
  • Submission essay 500-750 words on one of the following topics:
  • How have you advanced the spirit of giving in your community or abroad either through service or in giving?
  • How has the spirit of giving affected you personally?
  • How will your college or post-secondary education allow you to be of service to others or give to others?
