Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarships 2023 for Students
Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarships, which is fully funded and sponsored by The Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE), is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarships
The Arkansas Academic Challenge Program offers scholarships to residents of Arkansas who wish to pursue higher education.
The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery funds this scholarship, which is available to all students, regardless of their academic performance.
It doesn’t matter if you have just graduated from high school, are currently enrolled in college, are enrolling in college for the first time, or re-enrolling after taking a break from college.
Eligibility Criteria (Traditional & Non-Traditional Student)
To be eligible for the Arkansas Academic Challenge Program scholarship, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
1. Reside in Arkansas for at least 12 months before enrollment and be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
2. Be accepted into an approved higher education institution and enrolled in a program that leads to a baccalaureate degree, associate degree, qualified certificate, or nursing school diploma.
3. Not have previously obtained a baccalaureate degree.

4. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with no maximum income limit.
5. The applicant must not have any outstanding refund on federal or state student financial aid for higher education.
6. Not have borrowed beyond the annual federal loan limits.
7. Not be incarcerated during the scholarship application process or while receiving the scholarship.
8. Comply with the registration requirements of the United States Selective Service System.
9. Certify to be drug-free.
Application Requirements
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant is required to fill out an application form and submit their test scores.
Application Deadline
The deadline for the scholarship application is July 1st.
