The OWWA Scholarships 2023

The OWWA Scholarship, also referred to as the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Scholarship, is a readily available scholarship program for Filipino students.

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration is a dedicated organization that advocates for the welfare and prosperity of Filipino workers employed overseas, as well as their dependents.

As part of their efforts to support the education of Filipino students, OWWA provides multiple insurance, educational, and scholarship opportunities. Students who require financial aid may apply for the OWWA Scholarship.

Through this program, the government extends financial assistance to students, enabling them to pursue their education.

For Filipino students with parents working overseas, the OWWA Scholarship is one of the most favorable options available.

Benefits of OFW Dependent’s Scholarship Program

Through the OFW Dependents Scholarship Program (ODSP), eligible dependents of active OWWA members can receive financial assistance amounting to PHP 20,000.00 per academic year.

This scholarship fund can be utilized for various education-related expenses such as tuition fees, accommodation, books, and other similar expenses. Being awarded the PHP 20,000 scholarship on a yearly basis is a great advantage for OWWA scholars.
