Delhi University offers DU Admission to UG courses on merit, and Entrance Exam based. Selection for courses like BA, B.Voc, B.Sc, B.Com is on merit. For courses like BMS, BBS (FIA), BA (Economics), B.Tech, etc the admission will be valid when you pass the entrance exam.

The university has added four fresh courses, the admission to which will be because of the entrance examination conducted by the University.

These courses are Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Masters of Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, and Bachelor in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

The University conducts entrance exams (DUET) for PG and doctoral courses. DUET is a CBT based online test. DU might also start a round of Counselling before announcing the final decision.

Students applying for DU admissions will be eligible for all the DU courses and colleges as per the merit list. Applicants don’t have to choose subjects and colleges during the registration process. 

The ones applying through the Sports quota will not be appearing for any sports trial.


DU Admission 2021: What Is The Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the UG course at DU should have passed the Class 12 examination of any Board/University examination in India or any foreign country.

The board should be recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Check Registration Fee

For merit-based programs for UR/OBC/EWS candidates, the registration fee is Rs 250

For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, it is Rs 100.

The additional registration fee for each entrance-based programme for UR/OBC/EWS candidates is Rs 750 and for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, it is Rs 300.

Delhi University registration process for DU UG Admissions 2021 on the 31st of August 2021.

Students who still have not applied for the admission round at Delhi University can do it for various undergraduate courses through the official site of DU on du.ac.in.

The first cut-off is expected to come out by the second week of September.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 board exams can apply for the Delhi University admissions for undergraduate courses. Candidates can apply for the courses online through these simple steps given below.

Candidates can follow these steps mentioned below to apply for DU UG admission 2021:

1: Go to the official website– admission.uod.ac.in

2: On the homepage, find and click on the ‘New Registration’ tab and register using your personal details

3: Create your profile, and log in using the new credentials

4: Select your preferred course, fill the DU UG application form, upload requisite documents in the specified format

5: Pay the registration fee and click on the ‘submit button

6: Download the form and take its printout.
