1) Year Up IT Internship

Year Up is an intensive educational program that helps teens improve their technical skills and prepare them for employment in the field of information technology.

The program brings together teachings invaluable IT, communications, and professional skills, and internships opportunity provision.

Year Up offers educational programs in Boston, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and other places.

What will Interest you about Year Up

1. Students spend six months in IT training and then undergo internships in companies that need IT skills. Students receive scholarships during the internship process.

2. Students receive so many offers, during the program.

3. Students do not need to have the strong technical experience to register, but basic computer skills are required.

4. This program is available at Year Up, a non-profit organization based in Boston, Massachusetts.

5. The mission is to provide young people in cities with the skills, experience, and support they need to achieve their potential through vocational and higher education.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Students should have a big interest in IT and a desire to learn and learn.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Candidates will be tested for technical and written skills during their adoption. Approximately 84% of the students who complete this program work full-time for four months after the completion of the program.

Explore Microsoft IT Internship

How cool would it be if you got to explore different roles in software development within your first two years of college?

If you aspire to be a software developer and are currently majoring in a technical field; like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering; apply for the Explore Microsoft program and find out.

Explore Microsoft is a 12-week summer internship program specifically designed for first and second-year college students.

 The program is rotational and allows you to gain experience in our different software engineering roles. Your on-the-job learning will be augmented with mentoring, community building, and networking opportunities.

 It’s also designed to give you hands-on experience with various tools and programming languages in the field of software development, and encourage you to pursue degrees in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Candidates must be in their first or second year of college and enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in the United States, Canada, or Mexico with a demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related technical major.

2. Students must have completed an Introduction to Computer Science course (or equivalent class) as well as one semester of calculus (or equivalent) by the start of the program.

ELIGIBILITY

1. All candidates who meet the above criteria may apply.

Minority access

The Access Program for Minority Trainers offers internships for spring, summer, and fall, also courses for students, teenagers, adults, alumni, and professionals.

All internships are paid, with travel expenses and housing benefits. It is available to all students; Minorities may be registered.

Interns are in various government and corporate positions where they can gain practical experience in a professional environment.

CBCF’s IT internship programs prepare college students and young professionals to become principled leaders, skilled policy analysts, and informed advocates by exposing them to the processes that develop national policies and implement them.

The Black Caucus Congress Foundation is available for undergraduate or bachelor’s degree students. Internship in Africa 2019 is designed to give students practical experience in politics and management.

The intern receives aids to compensate for personal expenses and the provision of housing.

JOB DESCRIPTION
